Cupcake Creations

Kelli and I have discovered the best little hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop...Cupcake Creations. It's main focus, of course, is cakes and cupcakes. But they serve lunch there too. Our friend, Sandie Scott is a waitress there.

The Creation Club (Kelli's favorite) Pimiento Cheese (made with several different cheeses,
melted cheese on top, and a slice of tomato)
Along with the various sandwiches, they also serve different salads, wraps, and quiche. The sandwich plates come with a side item (fruit cup, potato salad, or pasta salad), peach tea, and 2 mini-cupcakes. My meal was $6-7 for all of that.

The cupcakes change with the season. Some flavors include, Oreo, Hersheys chocolate chip, red velvet with chocolate chips in the bottom, lemon, white with festive sprinkles, and my favorite...praline pecan! Mmmm, delish!

Cupcake Creations is located on Highway 9 - the older side of Highway 9 near Spartanburg. To get there, we take I-85 to Pine Street. We get off on the exit that combines Hwy 9 and Whitney Road. Turn left onto Hwy 9. Cupcake Creations is a small house right beside McRey's Lighting on the right hand side of the road. If you're on Asheville Highway, take California Avenue to Hwy 9, then turn right at the red light. It'll be on the left soon after you turn.

You can also be their friend on Facebook. Each week they give a secret word. If you go eat there, say the secret word to them and you'll receive a free regular size cupcake.
