While I was folding clothes tonight, I started looking at where my panties were made. Go ahead and curl your eyebrows or shake your head...I know it sounds crazy.
Mom and I were talking about our panties today and which were our favorites. She and I both wear undies from Victoria's Secret. We love all the different patterns and colors. (I think we own just about every color of the rainbow.) We were talking about how the styles have changed and which were the most comfortable. She said not to buy them if they were made in Mexico because the fit is smaller than if they were made in another country. So that's what made me start looking tonight at where my panties are made.
Every single pair I have are Victoria's Secret, so in my mind it seems like they'd be made in the same place. Nope. Some were made in Portugal, Maldives, Israel, India, and Jordan. I wish I could've have seen a pair made in the United States...but that's impossible. I was mostly surprised that none of them said "Made in China".
Things that make you go "hmm". I can be strange, I know. But some things just amuse me.
Where are your panties made? Anywhere interesting?

Busy, Busy, Busy
We have been so busy around here - stuff going on every weekend, and winding down the school year and dealing with my roller coaster emotions about resigning, and trying to figure out where in the WORLD I'm going to put all my boxes of school stuff! Gavin has been sick with some type of crazy virus, and Jason working like a dog (I'll be so glad when July comes and he gets to go back to the office and off this BMW project). Anyway, here are a few pictures I managed to take of some of our activities:
Last weekend, the kids had a dance recital. All 3 of them danced in their own groups, but this routine was my favorite - where they danced together to "We Are Family".

Mother's Day Pictures
We spent a great Sunday celebrating Mother's Day. We ate an early lunch with Jason's mom at Texas Roadhouse, and then went to Mom's house for supper for lasagna and salad.

I've been defeated
I have been defeated by this guy...
He didn't give up quite so easily. That little booger had to have worked all day long on that plastic container. I had put my pot of flowers on the corner where we gnawed Wednesday evening - to block him from going back to the same place. But, he just found a new place to gnaw. And he was successful.
Mom said, "Kristi, why didn't you just bring the container in the house?" Well, yeah, that's common sense. But first, our little love shack has been outgrown for quite some time. I really don't have a good place to put that big container of seeds inside my house. And plus, I kind of wanted to see what would happen - to see how far that squirrel would go. How desperate he was to get those bird seeds.
Well, now I see. So now the bird seed container is inside my house by the door - there's nowhere else to put it. Now....if that thing tries to get inside my house by chewing thru my door, then I think I'm going to....I don't know what I would do actually, but laugh.

A Pest and a Dirty Boy
I have a bird feeder in my front yard and bought a big bag of bird seed. Normally I keep the bag of seed in my utility closet in the house, but this time we bought a huge bag of it instead of the small bag I normally get to save money - the birds eat me out of house and home. I have no room in my closet for this big bag, so I've folded it over and clipped it closed, and left it outside on the front porch. NOT A GOOD IDEA! I came home yesterday afternoon to a hole gnawed out of the bottom corner of the bag, and tons of eaten seed shells in a pile on the ground. So I went to Dollar General and grabbed a plastic storage container to put it in, put the lid on, and put it on top of a small table on the porch for the night until I could find another place to put it. This morning when I opened the front blinds, there was a pesky little rodent (a squirrel, not a rat) on top of the container sniffing around. I was like, "Ha ha ha! I've got you! I out-smarted you!" Oh no! The squirrel is definitely not giving up so easily. I came home from work this afternoon and found that it has been chewing thru the plastic to get to my seeds. Now what do I do?
Tonight, after celebrating Cinco de Mayo at El Mexicano, mom and dad came over to help plant some flowers and vegetables. Gavin loves to help Pops do everything, so he was right down in the dirt with him. This dirty boy was covered from head to toe!

Greer Family Fest
Today we headed over to downtown Greer for the Greer Family Fest. I love how all the local churches sponsor a craft table in the KidsZone area. There were so many different activities for kids to do. (I wish Lyman Fest would do that. Then churches could also give out information and bring more people into the church.) They had inflatables, food vendors, retail vendors, and other service people there, but we focused mainly on the kids stuff. Here are some of our fun activities:
